Rini has a blog!
Alright! Rini Rampal finally has her very own blog. For those of you tuning in so early, Rini is a character in an online world called Second Life. Expect a post sometime soon with more information on what Second Life is (assuming I get to it), but for now, if you want more information, check out the homepage. SL is completely free to join and a blast to play - go ahead, check it out! 
This site is actually one of three hosting this blog at the moment. Google gave me on the order of a hundred free blog-hosting sites, of which I checked out maybe 40 that sounded positive. Through the websites and feature lists, I dropped it down to eight that I actually started the signup process with. Several more dropped out due to not having a name I liked available, or otherwise messin’ me up along the way. Then I started browsing the interface. *laugh* Yes, I’m this much of a dork. :p But, now, I finally have it down to just three sites:
Had to be the ones with similar names, didn’t it? In fact, as it turns out, BlogUrple and Blogsome have almost exactly the same interface - probably based on something else out there, though I’m not sure what. Blogsome appears to have more features, but… we’ll see. This is my test post, and over the next week or so I’ll get it narrowed down to just one of the three to keep. In the meantime… hi!
